The Commandant’s Shadow Movie Screening

How do groups with different beliefs forge an understand and the ability to move forward? The Commandant’s Shadow follows Rudolf Hoess’ son and grandson as they strive to learn the truth of their patriarch’s actions. Jurgen (Rudolph’s son) says he had a idyllic childhood and denies ever knowing about the atrocities his father was perpetrating o the property where he was raised.
Auschwitz survivor, Anita lasker-Wallfisch agrees to meet Jurgen and his son, Pastor Kai Hoess, in her London apartment and share her experiences with them.
