As the saying goes, "Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day... teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." JFS offers individuals a leg-up: the Empowering People for Success Program (ESP), a state welfare-to-work initiative to help clients gain self-sufficiency.
